Some of the main services we provide from blocker palm replacement, binding repairs, broken plastic, more foam, surface damage, knee slides, toe and thigh binding, Leg, knee, calf straps, velcro, buckles, eyelets, toe bridges, toe ties, knee lifts, rebuild of gloves, etc

Looking for a product that isn't available in the UK, inquire as we might be able to acquire it for you.

 

We do not offer the following skate repairs: sharpening, rivets, holders, eyelets, it is something we would like to offer down the road.

We do not list prices as our material costs and shipping costs fluctuates as we deal in smaller volumes of repair materials.  We do try to absorb the fluctuations as much as we can and try to keep increases to a minimum.

Palm replacement - Blocker
Full Palm replacement on blocker this includes the gussets and back of hand (glove).  This is bought as a unit, and we install.  We don't make our blocker palms currently.

Nash - Pre-made, right hand and left hand available - Pro style with foam back of fingers
 
Catcher Glove
Patching, binding, lacing of pocket, floating pocket, rebuild the tee web, perimeter and inner lacing, broken internal plastic, uncurl internal plastic, rebuild catcher, etc.


Palm Patch Sewn In
Patch is sewn into the main palm area.
The sooner a hole is discovered and patched, the increased success of a patch prolonging the life of the existing palm.
 

Finger or Thumb Patch Sewn In
Patch is sewn in the thumb or finger area.
The sooner a hole is discovered and patched, the increased success of a patch prolonging the life of the existing palm.
 

Gusset Repair
Gusset repairs - Stitching repairs to gusset of blocker
 

Binding Replacement
Replacing of binding on the edge of gloves, elbow pads, shin pads, shoulder pads, equipment bags, etc.
 

General Stitch Repairs
Reinforcing stitching or missing stitches.  Done by machine or hand.
This service charge is £10 for the first 15minutes, 50p per minute after the first 15minutes.
 

Velcro Replacement
Replacing Velcro on equipment or strap.
Can be done as a single or in pairs.
Velcro length and width of existing is required to determine original length and replacement cost.
 

Elastic Strap with Velcro per strap
Replacing elastic strap with hook or loop per strap.
Strap length and width of existing is required to determine original length and cost of repair.

Padding replacing, adding, or customized
Whether it’s adding extra padding to existing equipment or replacing old/missing padding.  Possibly recovering from an injury and want to have that extra protection.

Pant (Shorts) Mending
Mending cut, rip, fraying of pants/shorts with fabric.
Sewing only repairs will be £10 for the first 15 minutes, 50p per minute after the first 15 minutes.
 

Pant (Shorts) Patch
Patching over cuts, frays, etc.
 

Short (Pant) Cover Repairs

Boot Risers / Lifts
Custom made to size for the boot channel of your pads.

Skate Tongue Replacement
Supply your own or have us supply one.  We can swap out your skate tongues.
We can also add in extra felt (special order) to your tongue.
 

Toe Toes / Toe Bridges / Shock Cord
We create our own toe ties in our shop.  We have our standard ones, and we can also customise them.  We can replace your velcro or shock cords.
We can rebuild toe bridges with materials meant for the purpose.  We also carry hardware.

Straps: leather and velcro
Knee lifts, Knee blocks
Buckles: metal and plastic
 
Shot Blockers / Plating
We offer both skate and glove shot blocking protection or goal post damage.
For skates we offer Custom Skate Works Ultra Stop - the top material out there, used and trusted by the pros.  Can be shipped to you to install yourself, we’ll send the information to do a template for us to cut the Ultra Stop for your skates.  Or we can install it. Other option is a thermoform material which is installed in our shop for correct fit and placement.

For gloves we install impact absorbing foam to the index fingertip.  We can also add onto gloves for injury on fingers, fingertips, side of index or pink, palm or fingers on the catcher, etc.  Can be installed on both blocker and catcher.

Skate Work
Cuff padding and materials worn away?  We can repair this as well.
Eyelets - ripped out or stretched, we rebuild internally and externally.  Eyelet installation is done by a local shop for us OR you can have your local shop install the eyelets.
Punching out painful or hotspots.

Steel for blades we offer JRZ Global (former Step Steel) and BladeTech (via Shinny Ice Hockey)
